Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland

OK, time to back up and catch some places we haven't shared yet. This is Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. Zeb and Ivy's family camped in the valley out about the end of the buildings. It was a great campground with good bathroom and shower facilities and a kitchen for use by the campers. The area has about 70 waterfalls. The one in the right of the pic came down right in the village. Pic one is the scene from Mima and Papa's hotel room. That's right we roughed it in one of the local hotels while everyone else slept in tents. Been there, done that, nothing to prove to anyone.

Pic two is on a walk out the valley to some waterfalls that are inside the mountain. Makes me want to yodel.

Closer shot of the mountains at the end of the valley. This area is called the top of Europe. Later I will show pics of some base jumpers using the valley. Hiking and base jumping keep the town busy during summer and skiing keeps it busy the remainder of the year. The scenery was spectacular.

This is Heidi's place. (Well, that's what it reminded us of anyway) I'll add more later. Uploads work if I keep them to 4 or 5 pics at a time.
