Catching. Up on the trip down to Italy

The Hotel Basel. Great place. Awesome town if your if you are not trying to drive and find some destination.

Lots of little narrow byways and many are very steep.

Cool fountain.
Basel (pronounced bah sal) was a really fun place to stay. Lots of narrow winding streets full of shops of all types.
We had a great time eating at the outside part of restaurant beside a shopping street. A very affluent international city, it sits close to the borders of France and Germany. We didn't hear anyone else speak English. Lots of French, German, and Italian. We both said we would return here in a heartbeat. (Now that we can figure out how to maneuver in and out of town. Very few cars. Lots of public transportation. Get to town and park!
